Our m*lks are made with pea protein from yellow split peas and oats. Split peas aren’t thirsty and neither are oats. They need less water than cows or almonds. And as a bonus, our drinks are higher in protein, lower in fat and free of growth hormones, unlike their peers.
In fact, it takes 1000 gallons of water to make just 1 gallon of milk. Nearly 6xmore water to get the same amount of protein from almond milk than it does from Pikoo. With water scarcity taken into account, dairy milk takes 25xmore water than Pikoo.
